Full Packing Service in San Jose | Jerry Wood Moving

Our crew handles all the boxing, from routine stemware to displays, framed canvases, and keepsakes.

When packing an entire household reads like a lost weekend you never reclaim, leave the chore to us. A full pack has the crew turn up carrying the tape, the bubble, the paper, plus a pile of boxes, then move through your San Jose place from the top shelf down to the bottom drawer, the routine cupboards beside whatever has had you stalling. We handle loads of these, so a kitchen you keep dodging gets wrapped by our packers within a fraction of the hours it would cost you, sealed firmly enough to brush off a drenched January morning once it rides aboard.

Different things call for different handling. Plates and stemware nest in partitioned dish cartons, books in small boxes that spare the binding, and the awkward stuff earns a fitted shell: the mirrors, the flatscreen, the displays, the lamps, the framed prints, the canvas above the hearth. Whatever has a plug is shock-padded, and each box wears a room tag so the unpacking across town skips any treasure hunt. With the identical W-2 crew running both the wrap and the haul, nothing slips through the crack that opens the moment one outfit packs and a separate one drives.

Do the whole place, or just the tricky bits

Handing over everything is optional. A few folks want the lot done; others assign the den, the cabinets, and the artwork while holding onto their own closets. Both work, and the figure tracks exactly the share you hand us. In a larger household we wrap ahead by a day or so, and the fragile items plus the plug-in gear stay out of any wet-weather carry until they are padded and sealed.

Where packing stops

Two limits keep the job above board. We will not box or carry dangerous materials, so paint, gasoline, propane, solvents, and rounds need parking off to one side. Food that spoils and potted greenery do not get crated for the highway. And while we will gladly crate a fragile keepsake or an original canvas, we flag the moment a piece travels safer with you than sealed in a box on a wish.

What packing costs

Packing follows the share you hand us and the supplies it consumes, then stacks onto the move. For a sense of scale, full-home moving runs near $1,150–$1,950 at two bedrooms, $1,950–$3,300 at three, and $3,100–$5,000 at four, with packing layered above. All we wrap travels beneath the identical $1M of cargo coverage that the rest does.

What Folks Around San Jose Say

Evergreen · Google
★★★★★

“We have a baby grand that's been in the family for years, and I was nervous about moving it across Evergreen. Diego brought the right ramp and straps and the crew got it down a flight of stairs and onto the truck like they'd done it a hundred times. The rest of our 2-bed was easy for them after that. Not a mark on the piano.”

Japantown · Google

“Local 3-bed move within Japantown, done right. On time, well organized, and the crew was respectful of the house. Loved that the price was flat and written down up front. No surprises, no upsell.”

Berryessa · Google
★★★★★

“I run my business from home and was terrified about moving my dual-monitor setup, the NAS, and all the cables out of Berryessa. Sam's team labeled everything, boxed the electronics in proper padding, and even bagged and tagged the cords by desk. I was back up and working the next morning with nothing missing. These folks get that a home office isn't just furniture.”

Cambrian Park · Google
★★★★★

“Our Cambrian Park closing slipped a couple weeks so we needed storage in between. Jerry Wood held our whole house in their climate-controlled unit and brought it back out when we were ready. Same care both times, and the storage cost was exactly what they quoted. Made a stressful gap totally easy.”

Questions About This Service

Do you supply the boxes and materials?
We do. We turn up with tape, bubble, paper, partitioned dish cartons, and boxes, so there is no need to round any of it up beforehand unless you would rather.
Could you do only the plug-in gear and the kitchen?
Definitely. Many people assign us the den, the artwork, plus the kitchen while holding onto their closets. The figure is built around exactly the share you want done.
How do canvases and plug-in gear make it through in one piece?
Plates and stemware nest in partitioned dish cartons; mirrors, displays, and prints earn a fitted shell plus a box, then keep out of any wet-weather carry until they are sealed, so the entire batch travels safely.
Will the same crew pack the home and then move it?
It can. Keeping our staff on the packing and afterward the loading stops a thing from going missing in a baton-pass between two outfits; one team carries it through on a single figure.
